The Durian Lodge at Mekon

Mình mới đi vào ngày 19,20/02/2022. Vì dịch nên chỗ nghỉ vắng. Không gian đẹp, rất nhiều cây. Phòng và nhà vệ sinh sạch sẽ. Cô chủ nấu ăn rất ngon.

Cực kỳ tuyệt vời, sẽ quay lại nhiều lần nữa

The free standing bungalow was just right. A huge and comfortable bed ( the best one we had in Vietnam) a romantic shower that opened up to the sky with a view of the moon and stars and the nearby coconut tree almost came into the room. A quiet place to stay. Our host ,Loan, was helpful and attentive as well as being a first class cook. The menu was limited but delicious every time in the open air breakfast and dining area. Loan coped with my wife's allergies very well. The quirky bit:- when we were dropped off by the taxi, two nice moped riders helped us with our rucksacks. I got on the back and my wife got on the other. We were whisked along a very narrow gravel track over a couple of bridges to the door of Durian Lodge. The trip took just over 3 minutes and was quite exhilarating. I'm seventy this year and if I can do it so can you !!|We had an amazing cycle tour with Va who entertained us all the way round Cai Be area. Our stay was too short. Great place

Not only are the grounds at Mekong beautifully kept & designed, but Loan & her family are the perfect hosts. We (me, my boyfriend & mother) stayed for 2 nights and it was the highlight of our trip in Southern Vietnam. The location has the perfect mix of being remote but with plenty of areas to explore in the Mekong. The rooms are very modern, clean, comfortable and in a beautiful setting. Best of all was Loan's hospitality and cooking. From the moment we arrived she always ensured we were comfortable and in need of nothing. If you stay, you must arrange to have dinner in her garden. We did both nights and were thoroughly impressed with the fresh food from the local and the delicious preparation. They also provide bicycles to ride into the local town to see the market and explore. Also happy to arrange a boat tour if you'd like. ||||Really a gem in the Mekong. Highly recommended.
